A movie ,The Foreign'

About the movie:

,the foreign’ is a movie of a Turkish traditional story. Almost every actor is  Turkish. The director is Feo Aladeg, Umay is Sibel Kikilli and Cem is Nizam Schiller all of Turkish orgin .

And this is the story:

It’s about  Umay a woman of Turkish orgin. She has a husband they call Kemal and a little son Cem . But she is not happy with her husband and wants to separate.

She travels from Turkey to Berlin, to her family. All are very happy. But when they learn about Umay who wants to separate, her parents get angry.

 Umay’s parents take Cem and bring him to his father. But Umay plans to go away. With Cem.

 But when she goes, the door is closed. She calls the police and they bring Umay with Cem to a woman’s refuge.

 Umay finds work in a kitchen of a restaurant. There she has a friend.

Some time or other her big brother comes and roits at the woman’s refuge. She plans to go to her friend. At work she has a crush on a German man. She dates him.

 Umay’s sister Rana get married. Umay and Cem go to the wedding. But nobody wants her as a guest…

I won’t say more about the film. The rest you must see in the movie.

In my opinion the movie is a great story about Turkish tradition, love, friendship, family and dissappoitments.
