Orlando Bloom

Orlando Jonathan Blanchard Bloom was born on 13 January 1977 in Canterbury. Orlando Bloom is a British actor. When he was 16 he went to London and successfully enrolled at the National Youth Theatre Drama School. In 1997 he had his first role in a movie and after a few days he was allowed to play the role of Legolas, the elb in “Lord of the Rings”. Bloom played the role in all 3 parts and became famous all over the world. In 2003 he played the role of Will Turner in “The Pirates of the Caribbean” and a lot more.

                                                                                 

In 2002 he got the Empire Award for the Best Debut Actor, the MTV Movie Award for the Breakthrough Male Performance to name just a few. Bloom has been together with Miranda Kerr and married her on 22 July 2010. On 6 January 2011 their son Flynn was born.

My own opinion:

Orlando Bloom is a very good actor. I especially like him as Will Turner in “The Pirates of the Caribbean”.
